WORLD SOCIAL WORK DAY 2023 CELEBRATION

World Social Work Day recognizes the hard work and diligence of social workers and it's celebrated every year. This year's World Social Work Day is coming off on Tuesday, 21st March, 2023 and will be celebrated on the theme, RESPECTING DIVERSITY THROUGH JOINT SOCIAL ACTION.โ€œ 

Prior to this yearโ€™s celebration, the Association of Students of Social Work, KNUST in collaboration with the Welfare Committee of the SRC and KNUST Peer Counsellors has more in the bag to unleash and to deliver. Watch this space and anticipate! ๐Ÿ“Œ๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ”ฅ

ASSOWK rebrands its logo

  The Association of Students of Social work KNUST is pleased to announce the rebranding of its logo. Hurray๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿฅณ๐Ÿ’ซ The executives of this association on the 23rd of November, 2022 concluded on the modification of its logo per a few discretions. The new logo signifies how every member of this noble association is pushing and doing their best to hold the world in a better place where there is service, social justice, dignity and worth of persons, importance of human relationships, integrity and competence.  But even with that, you could see that they are still struggling meaning they cannot do it all alone, it requires a collaborative effort.  Together the better. "United we stand, divided we fall" by Abraham Lincoln. We say goodbye to our old logo.
