DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITY.  In 1992, the General Assembly declared the International Day of Disabled persons. The day is International observance promoted by the United Nations. It is celebrated every year on 3 December to encourage a better understanding of people affected by a disability, together with helping to make people more aware of their rights, dignity, and welfare of disabled persons in all aspects of political, social, economic, and cultural life. The theme for this year's(2022) International Day of Disabled persons is "Transformative solutions for inclusive development: the role of innovation in fuelling an accessible and equitable world".  The day is celebrated to create awareness of the rights of Disabled persons. This information is passed through the global media. It also helps them to know their rights.
